Legacy Bend is a Tyler neighborhood of new homes, and Hester Plumbing has completed twelve jobs there on Hidden Creek Trail and Wilderness Cove. The photos follow the work in the order a new house gets it: rough-in, top-out with gas piping and the water heater, then trim-out with the fixtures.
At rough-in the crew sets the drains, vents and supply lines inside the framing: the laundry box with its trap and standpipe, and the shower and tub valves on their brackets with PEX supply lines, so every fixture has water and a drain in the right place when the walls go up.
On Hidden Creek Trail the crew mounted a Rinnai tankless water heater in the attic over a drain pan, with its gas supply and water shutoff valves. The new gas piping runs through the spray-foamed attic and is held under a pressure test gauge before it goes into service.
At trim-out the fixtures go in: a walk-in shower with a rain head and handheld, a freestanding tub with a wall-mounted faucet, vanity sinks and faucets, and the kitchen island sink with the dishwasher hookup. Outside, hose bibs are set in the brick.
